GoldenRoo KYC Policy

Last updated: 28.09.2026

Customer identification and due diligence form part of the Company’s measures to prevent money laundering and financial crime. We follow the principles of “Know Your Customer”, commonly referred to as KYC.

GoldenRoo Casino can ask a new user for any documentation it considers necessary to establish their identity and location, at any time. Service access, payments or withdrawals may be restricted until identification is sufficient. Restrictions may also apply for another reason determined at our sole discretion in accordance with the legal framework.

Our Approach to Due Diligence

All clients, customers and transactions are subject to strict checks and continuing monitoring. The level of review reflects the risk, the nature of the transaction and the customer category. Under money laundering regulations, the three stages are:

Simplified Due Diligence

This level applies to transactions involving extremely low risk that remain below the required thresholds.

Customer Due Diligence

CDD is the regular identification and verification procedure used in the majority of cases.

Enhanced Due Diligence

More extensive checks apply to high-risk customers, transactions involving large sums and special cases.

Events Requiring the Full KYC Procedure

In addition to the due diligence measures above, full verification is mandatory whenever a user requests a withdrawal of any amount, their lifetime deposits exceed EUR 5,000, or they attempt or complete a suspicious transaction through GoldenRoo Casino.

The procedure starts with the submission of basic personal details. The user must then upload a government-issued photo ID, a selfie holding that ID, and a bank statement or utility bill. Depending on the identity document, a copy of both the front and reverse sides may be necessary.

Identity and Address Requirements

Checking Your Photo ID

An acceptable identity document must bear a signature and show a full name matching the client’s name. Its holder must be over 18, and it must not expire during the next 3 months. The country must not be a restricted jurisdiction listed below.

Checking Your Residential Document

Proof of residence must take the form of a utility bill or bank statement issued within the last 3 months. The full name must agree with both the client’s name and the proof of identity. The same restricted-country rule applies to residential evidence.

Restricted Jurisdictions for Both Checks

Neither proof of identity nor proof of residence may show a country included in the following list:

  • Austria;
  • France and its territories;
  • Germany;
  • the Netherlands and its territories;
  • Spain;
  • the Union of Comoros;
  • the United Kingdom;
  • the USA and its territories;
  • every country on the FATF blacklist;
  • any other jurisdiction prohibited by the Anjouan Offshore Financial Authority.

Matching the Selfie to the ID

The person holding the document in the selfie must be the person identified in the photo ID already submitted. The document itself must also be identical: its photograph and identification number must match the copy used for the identity check.

Completion of Verification

If KYC cannot be completed successfully, we record the reason and create a support ticket in the system. The user receives an explanation together with the ticket number.

Once we hold all the proper documents, the account is approved.
